अर्थसंकल्पी अधिवेशन हे भारतीय जनता पक्ष आणि मनसे यांच्यातील आरोप-प्रत्यारोपामुळे चांगलेच गाजत असताना आज भाजपचे माजी राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नितीन गडकरी यांनी रात्री उशिरा कृष्णकुंजवर मनसे अध्यक्ष राज ठाकरे यांची भेट घेतली. या वेळी नेमकी काय चर्चा झाली, हे समजू शकले नसले, तरी यात मागील दोन दिवसांत भाजप-मनसे यांच्यातील आरोप-प्रत्यारोपाच्या धुळवडीबद्दल चर्चा नक्‍कीच झाल्याचे राजकीय जाणकारांचे म्हणणे आहे. 

राज ठाकरे यांनी विधानसभेचे विरोधी पक्षनेते एकनाथ खडसे यांच्या सेटलमेंटचा आरोप केल्यानंतर भाजपच्या गोटात चिंतेचे वातावरण होते. भाजप 2014 च्या निवडणुकीसाठी मनसेने महायुतीत यावे, यासाठी मनधरणी करीत असताना राज यांच्या अचानक हल्ल्याने भाजपची पुरती वाताहत झाल्याचे बोलले जात होते.  त्यात भाजपचा जोडीदार शिवसेने भाजपला चांगलीच साथ दिली. वेगाने सुरू झालेल्या घडामोडींच्या पार्श्‍वभूमीवर मनसे आज एकाकी असल्याचे चित्र निर्माण झाले. भाजपचे माजी राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नितीन गडकरी यांनी विधान भवनात हजर झाले.शिवसेना कार्याध्यक्ष उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी कालच भाजप नेत्यांची भेट घेऊन भाजप-शिवसेना युती अभेद्य असल्याचे दाखवून दिले. त्यानंतर रात्री अकराच्या सुमारास राज ठाकरे यांची भेट घेतली. या भेटीने राजकीय वर्तुळात अनेक तर्कवितर्क मत व्यक्‍त केले जात होते. भाजप-मनसेचे पुन्हा छुपे मनोमिलन झाले तर नाही ना, अशी चर्चा लगेचच सुरू झाली.
